Fish & Chips has made its entry into the slot market as a freshly launched UK-facing studio with a mission to make games that are full of personality inspired by the unmistakable spirit of British entertainment.
Built around three core tenets – Britishness, Levity, and Nostalgia – Fish & Chips captures everything players love about classic gameplay, witty storytelling, and playful design.
The studio’s titles are familiar, light-hearted and made to feel like a night at the pub: a little cheeky, a little sentimental, and always welcoming.
To bring its games to a global audience, Fish & Chips has joined the YGG Masters program, with Yggdrasil acting as its distribution partner. As part of the collaboration, Fish & Chips will also take part in the pilot program of Yggdrasil’s new Game in a Box™, a next-generation technology designed to make the creation, testing, and deployment of slot games faster and more seamless than ever.
The first titles from Fish & Chips are expected to be rolled out to operators and players in January 2026.
The Fish & Chips marketing team commented:
Fish & Chips was born from the belief that slots should be fun and feel familiar. We wanted to make games that feel instantly recognisable and the kind you play with a smile.
Joining the YGG Masters program allows us to share that feeling with players around the world, while Game in a Box gives us the tools to do it smarter and faster than ever.
Zoe Bird, Head of YGG Masters, said:
We welcome Fish & Chips to the YGG Masters family; being the first ever studio to adopt our new, groundbreaking technology, Game in a Box, as the fastest way to enter the market. A collaboration that we take as another vote of confidence – from conception to go-live in one month. We are certain that their titles will resonate with a wide player demographic
