Better Collective has announced that Brandon Cohen, VP of Product & Strategy at Action Network, is leaving the company after seven years.
Cohen revealed his decision in a LinkedIn post, where he reflected on his journey with the US-focused media and affiliate brand, calling it both “rewarding” and “faster than imaginable.” He joined Action Network prior to its 2021 acquisition by Better Collective and played a central role in shaping product and strategy as the business became part of the wider group.
In his farewell note, Cohen expressed gratitude to colleagues across product, content, and leadership teams, praising the culture of collaboration that consistently drove results. He also highlighted the positive experience of working with Better Collective teams worldwide, describing the partnerships as “fulfilling,” and noted he will continue using the Action Network app.
His exit comes amid a leadership shift at Better Collective’s North American division. In July, Marc Pedersen, CEO of Better Collective North America, stepped down after nearly 18 years, having overseen regional revenue growth from $260,000 in 2018 to more than $100 million annually by 2022.
At the same time, the company is facing challenges, reporting an 18% year-on-year revenue drop to €82m ($96m) in Q2 2025, largely due to regulatory changes in Brazil and reduced US marketing spend. Still, Better Collective reaffirmed its full-year guidance and pointed to esports and paid media as key areas for future growth.
