Polymarket is nearing a return to the US market and is now forming key partnerships ahead of time. The New York-based company announced on Thursday that it’s now the exclusive prediction markets platform of the UFC and Zuffa Boxing.
The press release emphasizes how the agreement makes UFC and Zuffa the “first sports organizations to integrate prediction market technology directly into the live fan experience.” Polymarket is planning to develop a new storytelling metric to visualize fan sentiment and momentum during fights.

It will have a real-time Fan Prediction Scoreboard that will integrate into UFC broadcasts. There will also be collaboration on a new social media series that will focus on possible future fight matchups.
Speaking about the multi-year agreement, Polymarket CEO and co-founder Shayne Coplan remarked how “few sports generate emotion and debate like the UFC.” This partnership follows the company’s partnership with the NHL last month, along with its rival, Kalshi.
The company hasn’t been part of the US market since January 2022, when it exited following a settlement agreement with the Commodities Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). It gained the ability to re-enter after acquiring QCEX in July for $112m.
