Yggdrasil has released a soapy sequel to its classic fishing title in Bob Marlin Goes Splashing, featuring two thrilling Game Engagement Mechanics (GEMs), WildFight and RushingWilds.
Taking place in Bob’s bathroom, the 5×4 matrix is home to bathing essentials such as rubber ducks, soap and sponges, as players look to hook a max win of 6,000x.
The ducks are key to activating the game’s two mechanics, where they can randomly become engaged in a WildFight. If the duck wins, they will transform into a sticky wild, and a respin occurs. If the WildFight happens during the bonus round, the wild remains for the duration of free spins.
In addition, any duck that lands will charge a collection meter. If the meter is full when the free spins launches, the duck in question will become a super duck, and win all its WildFights.
If one scatter lands, a WildFight is triggered, while if two land, a WildFight occurs and then every wild on screen receives a 2x multiplier. If three or more hit the reels, the free spins mode is launched.
During free spins, the RushingWilds mechanic is active, ensuring that every wild that lands also increases the active multiplier on other wilds to significantly boost win potential.
Throughout the bonus round, a WildFight will occur on every spin, giving players a significant number of chances to land wilds and boost the multiplier.
In certain jurisdictions, two different buy features are possible, with a boosted option for a random super duck included.
